Thanks to RD for reminding me of this…

Back in the mists of time when Sears produced a print catalog which was the highlight of many people’s lives, there was a minor scandal which broke. It was noted that one of the male models (posing in the male underwear section) on Page 602 of the 1975 Sears Fall/Winter catalog appeared to have a bit of his wedding tackle hanging loose and free in the wind. One of those things where you have to catch the photo in a certain light or perhaps have the original photo in front of you I think personally.

It gained such notoriety that there was even a minor hit song recorded by Zoot Fenster (not his real name… see here)

 

Odd that nobody seems to have asked the actual model. Does anyone know who this was? I have not been able to find anything…
